Star wars: an amazing story, an amazing trilogy - Return of the Jedi Reviews

"Star Wars" is one of the most popular science fiction trilogies of all time, but I also believe that it is an amazing story that is told remarkably by George Lucas and has an incredible score done by John Williams. True, I grew up with George Lucas' definitive trilogy and I love it, but I recently realized just how good it is and the value it holds. "Return of The Jedi" closes off the series with the most amazing ending. Even listening to the soundtrack deeply affects me! My favorite part of the movie is when the Emperor is electrocuting Luke to death with his powerful force lightning. Darth Vader is standing on the side watching as his son is being executed. Even though his face is covered by his black mask, you can see the agony in his eyes as Luke screams and begs his father to help him. The lightning reflects off Darth Vader's mask as he looks back and forth, to Luke, to the Emperor. A great moral battle is going on within him. Then, finally, he turns to the Emperor, his master, and picks him up with inhuman strength. The force theme rings out, a symbol for the light side of the force triumphing over the dark side. Then, Darth Vader hurls the Emperor over the rail, sending him plummeting down the bottomless pit to his death. Good has won the battle against evil. The love Luke has for his father brought him back from the dark side and restored him to his good self. This movie is truly amazing, and is far worthy to be the closing chapter of this great and powerful trilogy.
